The Hayter Family

I got to meet this little family for the first time over this past week and despite our little two year old’s exploring and NOT wanting to smile, we got some really cute shots! He was dressed like a little gentleman.

Most of the time he would NOT look directly at the camera so we got lots of different angles.

The blocks and toys were his main focus, being a two year old…

He decided to give us a shout for our hard work I think!

I just love his eyes…

“Sugar Mom?”

Trying to get a family shot, but someone is just not cooperating…

…NOW we have a smile….

Mommy & Daddy entertaining him…

While we gave little Nathan a break from the camera, we got some shots of Mommy & Daddy…

Playtime…

Something is really funny here…

Managed to capture another “little” grin…

Thank you Hayter Family for this opportunity…hope to see you again soon…Happy 2012!

Fleming Family Christmas PJ’s Shoot

I decided for the Christmas Season to set up little mini-sessions for anyone to come and have a portrait done in their Christmas PJ’s! This lovely family decided to go for it! Here’s all the Fleming Family, including little Ruby, the dog!
Two lovely daughters, Reba & Staci
They have a new son in law, Greg, who became a part of the family this past July and a son in law to be, Carlo, in the not too distant future!

  Had a great laugh!

Mom, Paula with her beautiful daughters…and we can’t forget Ruby!

Used to be…just the 4 of them!
 Daddy with his girls…

Dad with his sons in law…

  Proud Mother in law…
 The Baileys…

 Reba & Carlo
 …who just got engaged!

Then the girls were game to jump in with their stockings and have some fun!
 So funny!

 Such pretty girls…

Took a few shots of Reba’s ring since she was here…and also a huge thanks to you guys for this fun evening!!

The Vincent Family

This lovely couple saw my ad about Christmas PJ’s portrait sessions but it ended up being a full family/PJ/Baby’s First Christmas session in stead. This is Baby’s first Christmas…such a little darling…
I still can’t get over how calm and easy going she was during her shoot…
 Captivated by the lights…

A little grin for Mommy or Daddy…

 The Vincents…very happy little family…
…they are so in love with their little girl…
Someone is getting sleepy but still remained in a good mood…
 A shot with Daddy…
 ”Hi Daddy, aren’t I cute??”

Caught her right in the middle of a sneeze!
 Now a shot with Mommy…

 Cute little profile picture…

 Another outfit…just adorable!
 Happy little girlie…

Then it was time to strip down to my diaper and get put into Daddy’s stocking, that he had when he was a little boy…

“Oh, what’s this?”
Look what they got for Christmas!!
Totally wiped out! Thanks so much guys for this opportunity. It was my pleasure to capture her first Christmas portraits and your first Christmas as Mommy & Daddy!

The Coates Family

I was lucky enough to photograph this little family a couple of times now. When Baby Alyssa turned one, they came for her “cake smash” along with the proud grandparents (will see in another blog)! This time they wanted to get some updated photos for Christmas. She’s such a little darling!  So cute and charming!
She, like most little ones, was very intrigued with the little chairs…
So she had to check it out…

No, maybe I’ll try this pink one instead…

Mommy tried to sneak the chair away so we could get a shot of her sitting on the floor…
Oh!  Something is grabbing her attention here…perhaps some of the faces Mommy and Daddy were doing to get her to smile…

The Christmas ball was a hit…
We were actually rolling it back and forth to her…she loved it…
  Sweet smile!
Mommy & Daddy looking great in their Christmas outfits…

Thanks so much for having me capture this day…

The John Family

This little family contacted me recently to have their family/maternity photos done because they’re expecting Baby #2! I had never met them before the shoot and they were awesome to work with. Their little one, being almost two, didn’t want to always cooperate in getting in the frame but overall we got some great shots and her Mom said you wouldn’t know she was having a bad day.Daddy was behind me making sure little Ava would smile…
 …but it didn’t always work…
 The John Family of three…
She loved the chair…

We gave Ava a break so now it was time to photograph Mommy and her cute little baby bump…
…and we would grab every opportunity to get Ava in the picture…

 A little family cuddle…

 One of my favorites…

They don’t know if it’s a boy or a girl so we went for BABY…
 Playtime…
Not sure what grabbed her attention here…

Mommy knows all the tricks so she hid a treat to get Ava in the picture…so Ava is searching for it here…
Mommy wanted Ava to hug her belly…

Beautiful baby bump…

 Not sure what happened here…
Workin on trying to get a family shot…

We had a few seconds where she was all giggles…I think Mommy might have been doing funny things behind the camera…

I loved how Mommy and Baby were dressed alike…
Now it was time for her to entertain us…
When Ava stepped out, I still took advantage of shooting Mommy & Daddy…

 Daddy & Daughter dancing…
  She’s all happy now…

 Such a cutie…

 Showing her little curls…

Thanks John Family for having me capture this day for you. You were awesome Ava and I look forward to meeting your little brother or sister real soon!

Hi Bev,

I am wondering where is your studio located? My husband and I live in Fort McMurray and are expecting our first baby. We are interested in maternity pictures followed by newborn ones. Please send me some information on different packages you offer, if, of course, you live here in Fort McMurray.

Thank you for your time and reply :)
